The apartment is set in the centre of the beautiful small village of Yalikavak close to Bodrum, on the Bodrum
Peninsula. It is in a very secluded location on a small complex with a large swimming pool, set amongst a mandarin grove and being only three minutes walk from the sea and the centre of the village.
The village supports a thriving fishing harbour and a new world Marina where you will find a wide range of excellent restaurants serving fresh produce from the area.
Directly behind the old harbour you will find a typical Turkish village with undercover shops and small bars where you can join with the local Turks, who are friendly and welcoming, for a drink.
The coastal region is ideal for sailing and water sports and attracts many foreign yachts to the harbour. Yalikavak is known for its superb sunsets, unspoilt shoreline and the numerous windmills found in the vicinity. The wind that until recently turned the vanes of these working windmills, now fill the sails of the boats and windsurfers and provide a refreshing breeze on the long hot summer days. The village hosts one of the biggest fruit, vegetable market on the Bodrum Peninsula. Horse riding is also available in a near by village.
The very old town of Bodrum has all the night life you may require together with a large selection of shops and many kinds of entertainment with cultural activities available. Bodrum town being only 15 minutes away, keeps the noise and flashing lights as you escape back to peaceful Yalikavak.
